Saving Lives?
Leana Sheryle Wen (Chinese), is the new and actual president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She is fearless and prepared to fight as health commissioner. Dr. Wen is a physician, a public health advocate, and author of "When Doctors Don't Listen: How to Avoid Misdiagnoses and Unnecessary Tests". She helped to sue the Trump administration for cuts in the city’s teen pregnancy prevention programs and won restoration of $5 million in federal grants. She is involved in another lawsuit accusing the administration of intentionally undermining the Affordable Care Act, and has been an advocate for the city’s health clinics for low-income women.
Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of reproductive health services in the United States, including abortion.
Planned Parenthood is the most important nonprofit organization that provides reproductive health services and sex education services in the United States and around the world. This ONG consists of 159 members who operate more than 600 health centers in the United States. Maintains partnerships with different organizations in 12 countries. Directly, it contributes to research related to reproductive technology and promotes the protection and expansion of reproductive rights.
For those who don't know the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger (1922), her original motivation was to take care of the extirpation of "the undergrowth ... that is flooding the human garden". She proposed the segregation of "the mentally weak, the incapacitated and the misfits", and the sterilization of the "genetically inferior races". Please read her book "The pivot of civilization".
Today 79 % of current Planned Parenthood clinics are located near African American or Hispanic / Latino communities. Is that an accident?
What stands out to me is this statement of Dr. Leana Wen:
"It's about saving people's lives. That's the work that we've done at Planned Parenthood for over 100 years. And I'm proud to keep on providing health care and protecting access to that care. Being a parent has clarified my values, I want to do is to shape the future for my son, Eli. And it's a future where all people are treated the same, that all people have the right to health care, and where it's a society where we trust women and we trust all people to make the best decisions for themselves and their bodies."
At the same time, a national pro-life organization published an analysis of Planned Parenthood's annual report, which revealed abortion accounted for 93 % of their supposed "family -planning" services. Meanwhile, adoption referrals accounted for only 0.6 % of their total services.

The big fight that Dr. Wen will face is that Donald Trump is determined to fulfill his promise to "cancel" Planned Parenthood. Or, at least, "evict" it from the federal family planning program, through which it provides care to more than 40% of the 4 million beneficiaries. This measure will be carried out by demanding that "non-governmental organizations that receive federal funds certify that they will not promote or press for the legalization of abortion in other nations."
Abortion is a lucrative business, not a compassionate service. It cost between 300 and 1000 US each abortion. Besides being able to use abortion as a contraceptive method in a legal way ... you can benefit from the "waste" ... by selling and purchasing the "vital organs of the fetuses".
Each year "Planned Parenthood" is sending millions of dollars abroad, especially to Latin America, in order to finance the campaigns + lobby in favor of abortion where it is not yet legalized. That's what Trump wants to stop.
I believe that abortion is a legalized genocide. If we deny the right to live on this earth, how can we claim justice for something else? Defending human life "no matter how small" is not a political or religious issue. Is a matter of human rights!
